SumBar wine bar, tapas and cafe is an exciting business close to Randwick Junction on Frenchmans Road. It has a great local community feel to it and the business has become a favourite for locals. The business is fully licensed and has a further Primary Service Authorisation which allows us to serve alcohol without the requirement to serve a meal. Sumbar has a fully operating kitchen. The style and design of Sumbar has been created to offer a funky cool atmosphere, which it does 7 days a week with great food, service and wines from around the globe.
SumBar is open 7 days a week from 6am with the funky cafe then around 5pm SumBar morphs ito a cool wine bar going till late 7 nights. Thursday and Sunday evenings we have live music featuring some well known musicians laying a mix of funk, blues and gypsy jazz.
SumBar has a rear courtyard with wine barrel tables and beer keg chairs, an upstairs lounge bar with antique arm chairs, couches and coffe tables all looked over by an antique wooden Spanish Bar. The downstairs front bar is as close to a Spanish tapas bar as you can get without going all the way to Madrid.
All the different areas that SumBar has on offers allows us to hire them out individually and still allows us to operate as a walk in/reservation wine and tapas bar. The upstairs Lounge bar is a favorite for private parties and is hired out regularly. With an established day and night menu and wine list together with a great ongoing relationship with our suppliers make SumBar a walk in get going business, where all the hard work has been done. We have competant hard working staff in place, with great chefs and front of house staff who enjoy the SumBar work place environment.
With double street frontage footpath dining giving us great street presence on the sunny side of the street and north facing SumBar enjoys a great position with heavy foot and vehicular traffic seeing us everyday. Rear entrance for service, garbage and staff helps us maintain a professional operation and a professional yet friendly continuing relationship with our neighbors.
