FABRICS SHOP FOR SALE

Business has been a family business for over 30 years being one of the first Bargain Boxes to open. I have had the business for over 8 years myself. Very good clientelle. I sell all sorts of materials i.e dress material, patchwork material, stretch material and an extensive range of haberdashery. I also stock wool for all the knitters along with other related items eg needles, patterns etc. I stock a good range of patchwork items eg rulers, cutters, waddings, quilt backings, both madiera and DMC threads. Other items I stock are cushion inserts, toy fil, craft, Jo sonja paints, brushes, beads, patterns and Bernina sewing machines and overlockers. I run craft/sewing classes for kids and adults. Contrary to many other businesses "hurting" in these economic times my turnover in the past twelve months has actually increased by a good percentage. I am willing to offer any assistance to the new owners and offer any plans I have in regard to my ideas for the shop for the future-obviously it is up to the new owners if they wish to take these ideas up or leave the shop as is or they may have new ideas of their own. I am the only shop of my kind in Swan Hill and although the shop has been "running smoothly" there is always room for improvement. The lease is currently on a month by month basis with the option to sign up for longer. I have plenty of storage space and frontage to the main street so get good trafic flow. Shop hours are 9am-5.30pm Mon to Fri and 9am to 12.30pm Sat. I am available outside these hours either at night or on the weekends to show anyone interested around if they are unavailable during working hours.
